Hey there people, are you guys ready to XOK in 2009?

XOK it’s a free digital art magazine.
The intention is to promote good stuff, mix it up everything’s going on in contemporary arts and publish it on the internet. It can be photography, texts, illustrations, vectors and similars. What we want is newness! The proposal is really simple, non fussy. You make the magazine! And you can invite friends too.

The them for XOK’s third edition is HOT, because XOK is brazilian and we’ll have summer holidays to get inspired by the tropical heat!

Hot as the beach, hot as a passioned kiss, a sweaty, fit body. The fire, the dancefloor, the pepper in your dish.
Ok, I helped you a lot, now it’s time for you guys show me what is hot, caliente, caldo, heiß, chaud, heet, горяче….

We have news for this edition. The first one being that every artist should send along with his work, some release (bio/history). Just a few lines are enough. Tell us how did the playing started for you, what do you aim with your art, something interesting about you and your work. This release is important for us spreading the word about the magazine xokers!! We want to know where so much creativity came from!

Second and not least important is to show your work in the right format. From this edition on that is: 2400×900(horizontal) pixels so the magazine can be more homogenic. Note that this doen’t mean that your art can’t be vertical, you can fit as many as you can in the same page. The limit is 3 pages (2400×900px) for each artist.

As it is a non profitable project, it’s good to explain all the works are credited and you can exclusively send material of your own authorship !
Participating doesn’t guarantee (yet!) any type of reward or vip tickets to gigs, but at least you would be able to publish and show your work around, along with a lot of interisting people

PS. There is a limit and a quality control. XOK magazine is with open arms to all but please be patient if by any chance your work isn’t published in this edition. So, be creative and do everything tenderly. Remember that if you have participated in any of the previous editions your work is still welcome. Oficial Xokers are XOK!
